Welcome to Wilmot Jujitsu

Jujitsu, also known as Ju Jitsu, Ju Jutsu, and Jiu-Jitsu, is an ancient martial art used by the Samurai warriors of war-torn Japan. The art itself consists of punches, kicks, throws, ground-grappling, and weapons. Jujitsu techniques rely heavily on leverage, so you don't have to be extremely strong to train.

Featured Technique:

Uchi Hari Uke

Hello Everyone,

Attached is this month's Calendar along with a seminar notice (Click Here For Calendar) (Click Here For More Information About Seminar). You will see that I have placed two make-up days, one for each of the children's classes.

Also, the Black Belt Apprentice class will be moved to August. I will be holding a day long class with these students that will involve training and more...... I would like to make this available to all the students in the Black Belt Apprentice group, so I am going to give you a date now so that we can all look ahead and see if it is available. - August 10th -

Finally, I have placed below the message I sent a few weeks back about dojo fees. Please take a re-read. I have had a few people that have let me know of their intentions. If you could send me an e-mail so that I know who intends on doing which option, this will give me a better gage of how the summer is going to go.

Kind Regards,
Sensei Calhoun

Hello everyone,

Remember that April, May and June fees are due. Please bring them this evening if you are coming or this Thursday if you are not attending classes Tuesday.

I hope that everyone that attended enjoyed the Taiho Jutsu seminar(oldstyle arresting art) this month with Shihan Crozier!

I know that we are all looking forward to the warmer weather. It will be nice to open the windows again, especially at the dojo. A reminder that as your child trains thirst does become an issue. It would be best that they bring a water bottle to class, much like hockey, lacrosse, soccer etc..... In case of emergencies i do have tea cups, but I cannot ganrauntee that they are always clean.

Summer Camps:
I will be holding summer camps for:

Tiny Tigers - August 4th and 5th

Junior Jujitsu - August 8 - 10th

There will be a package explaining the program along with registration fees by next week.

All my best,

Neil Calhoun
